Last Thursday night I had an opera rehearsal. When it was over, I walked outside and was surprised by how clear the sky was and how bright the stars were. Of course I had left my camera at home, so I made a mental note to bring it along to the next rehearsal and hope that the clouds and fog would stay away.
Thankfully they did, and I had a lovely time hanging out with my camera, the stars, and all the night sounds you never hear during the day. There’s definitely more night photography in my future!
I was even fortunate enough to see (and capture!) several shooting stars! There is one in the top image, but the one in the bottom image is just a plane…
